Sheri La Rue
Born into a family of artists, Sheri grew up in Amarillo, Austin & Dallas. Graduated from Texas Tech University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Education and a Masters Degree in Counseling. After college Sheri taught 7 & 8th grade art classes in and around the Dallas, Ft Worth area. She has been creating her own style of art and jewelry for over 20 years and has won many awards for her designs. Sheri travels around the country selling her work at festivals, arts & craft shows, galleries and stores.All the art work and earrings are made from polymer clay. Each piece is handformed. The wall pieces are 3 dimensional so that they "come out" of the frames. The objects on wires give the pieces movement. Most pieces have whimsical themes. Sheri is always creating new pieces so don't hesitate to call or email your special requests or ideas.
